Is WordPress a Great CMS for SEO?

Is WordPress SEO friendly? That’s the question we’re here to answer. That answer is yes. It is the most SEO friendly content management system out there today. It takes care of so much of the search engine optimization stuff just out of the box that you don’t really need to be an expert to create SEO friendly pages and posts on your blog or website. They are automatically created for you. You just create the content.

One example and a very important one, it creates pretty permalinks for all posts and pages. It also gives you the option to manually alter the URL yourself, so you can be in full control. This is great because when a URL is meaningful, it makes more sense what the page/post is about to both humans and bots. The latter is really important for search engine optimization.

Image resizing and optimization is also handled by WordPress which is another big yes for SEO friendliness. It takes care of URL canonicalization and other necessary HTML markups too so that you won’t have to worry about them. If you’re a beginner, you may not even know what they mean, but WordPress is doing it for you.

It will also generate a page title automatically for you. However, there are numerous search engine optimization plugins that you can install that can handle this process in a smoother way. The main and most used example being Yoast SEO which I can’t simply laud enough. It’s one of the greatest assets when installed on your WordPress site.

Simply put, WordPress today is one of the most SEO friendly Content Management Systems out there in the world and you don’t need to be an SEO expert to create an SEO friendly website. This is one of the reasons why it is the most used CMS in the world.

I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
