What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

We use Google Analytics and Hubspot to measure visitors to our website. This helps us get anonymous statistics on how many people visit our website and understand the user-behaviour of our visitors.
We never share your personal details with Google Analytics, but we will share your personal details with Hubspot in the event that you submit them via the contact form or live chat on our website as this is where we store all of our customer data to run our business and communicate with our customers. Should you purchase any product or service from ADB Web Designs, we will share your detailsWe with QuickBooks for the purpose of running our financial accounts and providing you with electronic invoices.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you provide us with your contact information either via our contact form, live chat, a phone call or email then your contact information will be stored in our CRM database (Hubspot) and also in our email contacts (Microsoft 365).
How we protect your data
All of our customer data is stored on highly secure platforms from both Digital Ocean, Google and Hubspot. We enable 2-factor authentication which means anyone accessing our data from outside our organisation will be unable to do so without access to a backup email or phone number.
What data breach procedures we have in place
We have procedures in place from both Digital Ocean, Google and Hubspot to automatically notify us instantly of any potential breach of our customer data. This allows us to then take immediate action to change passwords and remove any unauthorised users from our systems.
What third parties we receive data from
We use the Hubspot CRM to manage our customer data and Hubspot shares limited existing company data with us as part of this service.
